Privacy
Short version: we collect your email so we can tell you when Chaayé Khana opens. We don’t sell it, we don’t share it for marketing, and you can leave the list any time.
Who we are
Chaayé Khana is operated by Rajoka Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. Rajoka Limited is the data controller for chaayekhana.co.uk. Contact: hello@chaayekhana.co.uk.
What we collect
Only what you give us: your email address, and — if you use the register form — your first name, postcode, and which things you’re interested in (opening night, tasting panel, jobs, franchise). No accounts, no tracking pixels, no advertising cookies.
Why, and on what basis
We use your details to email you about the Chaayé Khana launch — the opening date, the address, and your invitation. The lawful basis is your consent: you tick a box to join, we send a confirmation email, and only addresses that confirm stay on the list (double opt-in). Postcodes are used in aggregate to help choose the right street, nothing more.
Where it lives
Signups are stored securely with our database provider and emails are sent through our email service provider. Both act as processors under contract with us. We don’t sell your data or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe, or 12 months after opening night — whichever comes first. Unconfirmed signups are deleted after 30 days.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct, or delete the data we hold about you, withdraw consent, or object to processing. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link that works in one click. For anything else, write to hello@chaayekhana.co.uk and we’ll respond within a month. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
